Replenished my supply of Mezzetta's Olives in Hot Habanero Sauce today. I am now addicted to 'em. Olive snacks, olive & foccacia sandwiches, you name it. The cashier laughed out loud when she saw I had appropriated one of the 6-pack cartons offered for a pick-and-choose beer pak. My *beer pak* was loaded with Mezzetta. And to think, I never used to even eat olives. I see they are available online at Mezzetta site but cost mucho more that way. I only pay 3.79 per jar at World Market (a chain import store). http://www.mezzetta.com/olives_in_habanero_hot_sauce.html I also bought a jar of Mezzetta's Jalapeno Stuffed Olives. I will pass on them next time. s'OK, decent heat for jal, but mushier and more salty than the olive in hab sauce. I don't much like a mouthful of pure salt or pure vinegar, which is likely why I haven't eaten olives in past -- most come heavily steeped in one or the other (or both). Mezzetta also makes a few other olive-jalapeno combos; you can check them out at: http://www.mezzetta.com/specialty_olives.html Tee
