In German, Cilantro/coriander is also called Wanzenkraut, Kraut (allright, you know sauerkraut) being a plant/herb/something like it, Wanze .. checking my dictionary .. crap, it just says bug or bedbug - anyway, same thing: when these are attacked, they exude a smell which is rather like cilantro leaves... nasty. Only that, considering "export potential" you obviously can get used to cilantro (and chiles), but an all-natural bug flavoring? Something for the weirdos... Mag.
