Hey, maybe I am finally fitting in...... The other night, my husband ground some of my dried peppers in the grinder (the correct one, thankfully), yanked the top off and nearly keeled over from inhalation, runny nose, tears, back of the head sweat, and almost no voice! After all these years of living with a chile-head you would think he would know how NOT to handle them! He swore the dust came up out of where the grind button goes into the top! And.....our new 6 month old black lab is a chile-head! I had some pickled serranos that I was eating and dropped several chunks. She snarfed them up and never missed a beat. Just to be sure she tasted them and not just inhaled, I gave her more and she loved them. My little boy still wasn't convinced so he gave her some of the Shiracha chile sauce on bread that he was eating (at 8.5 he is my little chile-head). She ate that too! Oh no, I may now have to fight to protect my chile patch this summer from the kids AND the dog!!!! Linda (who still needs to find a decent photo to send to the Rogues gallery)
