Hi Mike I live in Tauranga, which your family should know. Usually we have an awesome summer, which lends itself to growing anything - Tga is in a region known as the Bay Of Plenty, named when Captain Cook discovered N.Z. and was impressed with the abundance of plant and fish life. It is also known as such because one can stick pretty much anything in the ground and it will grow! This year the summer has been extremely erratic and a touch on the cold side. My Cayennes are fruiting like crazy, but are rapidly running out of days to redden. Where abouts is your family in N.Z?
