[CH] tree leaves?

Hi, I was checking the pot where i planted seeds a couple of weeks ago to 
see some small plants coming out. Just got a new little plant yesterday 
(little japone) wich has 3 leaves instead of 2. Has anyone ever noticed that 
before? Is it "normal"?
