I and my wife use lots of cow manure. She for here roses and me for peppers
and tomatoes. I had a 4' tall x 4' wide tomato one year. The tomatoes were
good too. The peppers don't get as tall, but you get a lot of fruit. Since
my "fruits" are next to her roses, they tend to get the same treatment (rose
food at times, topical pest killers only when no fruit or flowers, mulch)
and the peppers and tomatoes like it. Tulips and daffodils, not so much....
