Speaking of dehydrators... Anyone have any good recipes for making dehydrated dishes? You know, the kind you get at the sporting goods store or REI or something like that, where you just add hot water and voila, you have a meal. Usually soups, stews, and rice dishes. Most of those are bland and really boring. I'd like to make simmilar meals for myself for when I'm hiking and when I'm traveling a lot, but I'd like them to be a bit more exciting (yes, I do cary a supply of powders in the car, and often have a sauce or two in the trunk, but it's not really the same thing to chileize something bland) than what you can buy. And, of course, much less expensive and containing much less salt. -- Chad Gard, KB9WXQ INCHASE: http://www.inchase.org Co-founder SCOA: http://www.stormchasersofamerica.org Member #3 INSWA: http://www.insw.org Unit #21
