First of all, hello to all my spicy buddies around the world. I hope all of you are enjoying the grilling season--using plenty of healthy and tasty heat in your cooking. I have a question about my potted chile plants: Why are my Thai plants producing more fruit (that is ripening faster) than either my banana pepper, Anaheim or habanero plants? Consider this: all plants have been grown under the same weather conditions. Here in Michigan, we had a great deal of late spring rain. However, the last five or six weeks have been fairly dry. I do water the plants on a daily basis; all foliage appears to be happy and healthy. I do know that habs take longer to grow than other peppers. However, I do feel that I should be seeing more action from the banana and Anaheim pepper plants. Looks like there will be lots of stir fry with Thai peppers at the Dog House. WOOF!
