Did anyone else see the lame Adobo Chicken recipe on today's Martha Stewart? (ok, not that anyone here watches it, but I saw the trailer and taped it to watch how it was cooked). Recipe on the web site -- the only source of peppers in the entire thing is the chimichurri sauce, which had pepperocini and bell peppers. Nothing else anywhere -- no dried chiles, no prepared sauce, no fresh peppers. The only thing even red in it was 1/2 a red bell pepper. So, be warned if you visit this apparently visionary chef's restaurant. Expect no heat, even from dishes labeled hopefully: http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&styleType=tvradio&catid =cat10961&id=tvs7267ab http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?&type=content&id=recipe3160&page=1 http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=recipe3158 "Jimmy Rodriguez began a culinary career by selling seafood chowder along the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx and has gone on to become the highly successful owner of three New York City restaurants: Jimmy's Bronx Cafe, Jimmy's Uptown, and Jimmy's Downtown. The cuisine at each of his restaurants has a strong Latin influence, as in this recipe for adobo chicken served with chimichurri sauce, cachapas corn cakes, and succotash."
