Those of you who did NOT attend Open Fields missed some really awesome food...Bob and Sue had some WONDEROUS peach hab ice cream. ;-) Not to mention a ton of other stuff including some killer salsa by my good friend George. One of the most interesting and LETHAL was the red savina dusted horseradish (STILL scars my brain cells). Forgot who brought that but WOW! However, one I'm quite interested in having shared was the beef chili served under the canopy of CaJohn. I will attempt, so very humbly as I can, what he told me about this glorious chili. John, if I'm wrong, please correct me. And, if I also remember correclty, John said this is not on the cajohns.com website. CaBoom Chile fixins Jar of CaBoom Picante sauce beef Brown the meat, drain, mix well with other ingredients, simmer over heat and serve! ;-) Sounds easy, but I'm interested in QUANTITIES! ;-) John? I've GOT to make this for my dad. He'll be sorry he wasn't there on Saturday night.
