I've been conducting a (very) unscientific study on the peppers we saved from the frost. I have noticed that they get much hotter the longer they sit off the vine. Done this with regular supermarket jalapenos, too. They get really spicey if you just let them sit and in a week or so they've gone from mild to hot. Saturday Dan decided to make our favorite Bajan Chicken - cut up a couple of our Caribbean Reds and didn't think much of it. That is, until he happened to taste test one of his fingers. I've never seen him react that way, jumping around the kitchen, not sure if he wanted beer or milk! They were hotter than the Red Savinas we grew last year. Has anyone noticed this? Or am I just nuts?? Helen
