  This is an apology that would have come sooner had I not been tinkering
with my email settings and screwed things up.  And then had to find the
masters in and amongst the unpacked boxes from our recent moved.  But that
is not why I am here.

  I felt that after my last posting that I should apologize to the entire
list for that last posting.  I am truly sorry if it came across as whining,
a downer, maudlin and completely out of place on this list.  My only
defense is that I felt that I was venting a great deal of frustration to a
group of friends, but this is really not the forum for that.

  So I ask for your pardon if I offended anyone for being so off-topic and
it will never happen again.  I hope that you will accept this apology.
