Thanks for the heads up and I will email her. I see 2 varieties that she doesn't have on her website. http://www.bayoutraders.com I received about 15 seeds each of Aji Verde & Dedo de Moca. Both are new to me.
Can't believe that I got your Massachusetts mixed up with Maine. Actually I can. <G> I suppose people from both states talk "funny".
I'm curious how people clean their saved seeds. My saved & dried C. pubescens seeds still have lots of placenta flesh on them no matter how carefully I scrape them off the placenta. And does it really matter?
Another question for the knowledgeable on this list..... Do C. pubescens seeds require a dormant period to germinate? If they do, can anything such as refrigeration speed it up?

It was -4°F last night so Ya gut me beat PepperBud! Have had mixed results
once again with my overwintering trials & have a 5 gal. pail with 2 pepper
plants in it, 1 flourishing nicely, the other dead as a doornail. Go figure.
Snip: Add those to the 32 unnamed C. pubescens from a fellow C-H from
Maine (Paul)
Want more? I still have some of the 40 "named" ones, TeeHee....
Snip: Today I received seeds from a German pod-head (A. R. Madillo)
consisting of 7 kinds of C. baccatum and C. pubescens for me to grow next
year.

Oh by the way, you wrote "next year" twice in this post, you do mean this
year, right?

It was -9°F last night here in my frigid, desert area of Missouri. Really
thankful for my overwintering Rocotos. As a size reference my pen knife is
10 1/2" opened.
