[CH] Introduction

Hi all I just wanted to come in and introduce myself. My name is Rose
and I live here in Jersey. I was wondering if anyone else on the list
is also from here as well. I would love to meet others who have the same
interest. I was also wondering if anyone else grows chile's here in the
garden state to make their own sauces and salsa's.
Today I planted 39 chile plants, I missed out on getting red savina
plants from the nursery, but they are on order for next year and I do
have an order in for fresh RS chile's for september. I noticed someone
had asked if the Garcia's had let their PVP run out. I wish I could
help on that, the only tidbit I can offer is the nursery I deal with
says they are licensed to sell red savinas and the seeds that I get out
of my savinas cannot be legally sold. I have been trying to investigate
this further as I would love to put a savina patch in here for Jersey
chileheads to have access to. Hopefully as long as everything comes up
and does well I should have soem things to share by the end of the
summer. We started out small this year, primarily because hubby has no
desire to eat anything even mildly hot and thinks I am absolutely crazy
to keep eating and pushing hot things. Also trying to raise a junior
chilehead who visits every other weekend. This weekend he took a dallop
of Blairs After Death Sauce and after the flames went out said he would
do it again and wanted to try other hot stuff. This all while hubby sat
rolling in tears from laughter.
Well I guess I have rambled enough here. Hope to be able to meet some of
you in the area soon.
