It's been a long time since I posted, because I didn't realize that I
was using HTML in my e-mail program, thus my attempts at posting were
bounced.
Our 4th annual Harvest Hot Luck will be held on the last Saturday in
September which is the 27th. Lew and I picked up the chile plants from
Cross Country yesterday and it looks like about 120 total with about 80
different varieties. And for those that remember, the Wild Brazilians
are included.
Our first Keystone State Pod CASI Cook-off was held in conjunction with
the York Jaycees Chili Cook-off this past Saturday. We faired well in
the CASI event with 6 of the top ten finishers using our new (not yet on
the market) "competition blend" chili mix. We also won the
corporate/restaurant division with the Dysfunctional Family Style, took
second in the salsa, and 4th overall with the Black Mamba Chili.
We also have introduced two new products recently. We have a sweet/hot
relish and hot pickled garlic. As usual, we offer a special discount to
the list members, so contact me off list for the details.
AS I mentioned earlier, we are coming out with another chili powder,
which is targeted at the CASI and ICS chili cooks. Details to follow....

Warm Wishes,
