Oh sure Jim, rub it in. Was 44°F Mon. morning. The weatherperson keeps predicting warmer weather, but it never shows. This morning they're predicting summer temps on Monday, next week. Has been mostly 60's for most of the last month & a half. The good news is the Rocoto's love it! Check out this photo of a bud on a C. pubescens JohnT sent me this spring: http://home.attbi.com/~thenortheastchileman/wsb/media/148143/site1056.jpg The plant actually has over a dozen buds on it & I'm hoping it sets a few fruit. Did you enjoy the Lip Buzzin' Hab Sauce I sent? I can assure you a lot of my seed trading buddies send you a big Thank-You! for the pods you sent became seed stock as well as some heat added to some cooking last fall. The only overwintering success I've had is a 3 year old Chiletepin that I put in the cellar in Nov., drops all leaves but its stem & branches remain green & it "springs" back to life each April when I bring it back outside. Here's a shot of it this year: http://home.attbi.com/~thenortheastchileman/wsb/media/148143/site1027.jpg Good luck with your garden this year, Paul
