Although for just plain flavor some cayenne powder _always_ seems to fit the
bill. Enhances other chiles, isn't too hot for moderates worth their salt,
tastes good. Use _lots_. ;-)
Back packing, tenting, motel. Whatever. Seriously, take a variety of
powders. And some fresh if you have room. A couple habs go a long way, for
some. Hmmm, I chopped up a few habs the other eve, about 1/4 cup, and went
to a bbq at some friends. Grilled stuff. Mary made some wonderful salsa
and stuff that would suit any moderate. But the two of us spooned the habs
on soft tacos and fresh mango. Oh, heaven! Ate the whole thing! Just the
two of us.
Riley, who thinks a new category might be called for. Moderates, Hellfires
and what? You know, the ones using Dave's Insanity? Backdraft on potato
chips?
