You said that you need 2 tomatillo plants to get fruit, I don't agree. I grew a plant 2 summers ago and only had one. I had tons of fruit towards the end of the summer, altho' a critter got it and I didn't get to eat a lot of it. It pollinated itself and I got tons of fruit, tons of it. Maybe it was a coincidence, maybe it wasn't supposed to happen, but it did. I planted the tomatillo with the tomatoes, and had no problem with fruit. Just my 2 cents. RisaG
