I too have noticed that different bugs have shown preferences for different species/varieties. The slugs loved the chinense and rocotos, sporadically went after the annuum, but ignored the keriting. The aphids went after the annuum with gusto, dabbled in the chinense, but ignored both the keriting and the rocotos. Both of my keriting plants have an "interesting" growth trait: After reaching 1 foot in height they started branching. The weird part is, on each plant one of the resultant branches looks like it wanted to be 2 branches, only they never separated, so it looks like a double branch and is thicker than the main stem. Anybody ever see this before? Scott... KCK
