Durn, we just got back from a 9100 mile road trip in a rented car. We visited New Mexico as a drivethrough on our way to Amarillo, Texas from Grand Junction, Colorado. I picked up a newspaper in some little dusty town out in the southern part of Colorado and read about the crop. At the time, this was around June 25, the ag agents were just estimating 30% of the crop hadn't matured to the point of fruiting. I can't follow this link in PINE so can someone fill me in on the current status? Oh, yeah, in Martinsburg, W. Virginia we found El Paso brand green chiles in the Big Lots for $.69 for a 28 ounce can. Big Lots is the Wal-Mart of West Virginia. carp
