Great suggestion that works! If you go this route, give the groomer a 
bag to put a couple days worth of DIRTY DOG hair into... fresh squeaky-
clean dog hair won't repel pests like the stinky stuff will, plus you 
don't want residue from flea dips etc to be near your gardens.

(who is going HOME for a couple weeks, all you CH's be good
and play nice while I'm away :)
