Had a real tasty time w/family yesterday, weather was in the low 80's.

Bought green tomatoes at the farmer's market and fixed them yesterday w/an
Applewood Smoked Bacon cream sauce. Yum. I used cornmeal and Panko,
Japanese crisp bread crumbs and egg batter. I fried them in olive oil and
some of the bacon grease and a dash or so on each of Jim's Applewood Habanero
powder. But so good. Terrible for the health all that oil.

Hubby fixed stuffed squash blossoms (parmesan cheese, Havarti-pepper cheese,
sausage, sourdough bread crumbs, Applewood smoked Hab powder, and fresh herbs
and garlic) then he breaded them w/egg and Panko and fried them in olive oil.

We also bought 10 different varieties of tomatoes (Black Kirim, Cherokee,
Golden Jubilee, Beefsteak, Trust, Celebrity, etc.) at the market as mine are
just coming on now. We had these sliced w/fresh mozzarella and basil from my
garden, and of course sprinklings of pepper (Jim's Hab and Chipotle).

We also fixed baby back ribs. We baked them in a slow oven with beer and a
mixture of Jim's Fiery Habanero sauce and his finishing sauce covered w/tin
foil. Then hubby and son finished them on the grill basting them in
additional hab/finishing sauce. Talk about good. WOW!

We also planked fresh sea bass on cedar and basted with mango, jalapeŇos,
garlic, and champagne vinegar. Cooked on the Q very slowly so it would smoke
nicely.

We also grilled chicken breasts with a roasted garlic, Serrano, balsamic
vinegar and honey marinade.

Whit corn on the cob on the Q as well. I pull down the husks leaving them
attached, remove the silk, bath the ears in a mixture of butter and roasted
garlic olive oil, then I place some fresh herbs from the garden (Sage,
Oregano, and Lavender) on the ears as well as scallions and slivered Thai
Dragon chilies. Pull the husks back up and tie the tightly in place to keep
the corn moist while cooking on the Q.

The pencil size asparagus spears were just christened w/hollandise that had a
little white pepper. I am a purest on this one.

There was more of course but not pepper related.
