As Stephen Stills once said "Love the one your with" After living in the Far East for 16 years I find that every country has it's own ways of stuffing food down.. Chopsticks............... 1. Japanese- bamboo and wood, and almost never see any other utensil on the table. (they would almost rather pick up their food with their fingers before using a fork) 2. Korean - metal and somewhat pointed (Good for stabbing in frustration) they also like to use large metal spoons. 3. Chinese - Long bamboo or wooden chopsticks..not sharp..long enough to think they might be scared of what their eating....believe me they are not. AND HERE's THE GOOD NEWS...I just returned from one month in Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa - diving trip) and I saw hot peppers in every supermarket I hit...They even had some Habs...(about $3.80 a pound) So...it's nice to have something familiar to eat with and it would be nicer to have someone to cook that food that you would have to make that choice of what you were going to eat with.. BUT it's always good to "Love the one your with" mo mo "Parkhurst, Scott Contractor" wrote: > >The metal ones are very pointed and damn hard to use > > No kidding.
