	I picked the first ripe Francisca hab (Shepherd's Seeds) yes-
	terday.  It was a much deeper orange than I expected, (based
	on the washed out image from their catalog), almost but not
	quite red.  It is a big beautiful chile.  The chocolate habs are 
	also starting to turn.  Same basic planting schedule.  
	   Now, if the second round of buds will set fruit, I'll get more 
	than 30 peppers off the six (of nine) hab plants.  That dang old
	heat wave sure knocked 'em back, but thankfully not out.
