I had no real problem keeping the peat pots damp, but they did have a tendency to grow mold on the outside. At trans- plant time I had to peel off the peat, thus defeating the easy planting benefit of the peat pots. On the plus side, since the little fellas were root bound, it was easy to straighten out the roots with little trauma (to the seedlings). >My only real problem - too many plants, not enough garden.
