Greg: the chile festival itself is a little on the small side, but you can get bushels of roasted chile (or raw) for about $15.00 each, throw in another $4-5 to roast them. It's worth that just to smell... There are booths selling ristras, hot sauce, burritos and green chile (a Pueblo staple) and other such stuff. If you are coming down I-25, take the 1st street exit, go about 3 or 4 blocks west, and you can't miss it (again, follow your nose). Good restaurants include the Mill Stop, Jorges, Nachos (in the same part of town as the festival), Cactus Flower, Coors tavern (home of the famous slopper- an open face hamburger smothered in green chile), Romero's (winner of several chile contests), I could go on and on, but just look in the phone book, theres a whole bunch of them here. the gabacho chile picker and guy who lives in a town with a whole bunch of good places to eat <<<boz>>>
