Sheesh...arent you two guys within firing distance of each other? Or at the very least, in the same sorta neck of the woods? Forgotten how it is down east, bin so long since we left...but out here, we think nothing of driving to Seattle(if only our buck was better) and a mere coupla hundred mile jaunt is childs play....so look out Byron....look out Gareth, one or tother of you is goin to end up at the other's door, peppers in hand, to have a bragging contest! Speaking of bragging, just picked two RED serranos, only I do not think that they are, they are long, squiggly, and skinny, and hotter n the nether region....first thing I did was bite one in half, and got tears in my eyes for my trouble! I do not do that with store bought habs!Marie would not even try it...(she remembered the jalapeno that I had last week that was so hot!) Soo, I wwill have to go looking at all the pepper pics to try and determine what they are. One can never trust the little tags on nursery boughten plants! Also, bought an ornamental at a store the other day, it is loaded with peppers, purple turning red and then more deep red, about 1 1/2 inches in length, and growing straight up, quite fat little beggars...any ideas? Have not tasted one yet, but that is next! Cheers, Doug in BC
