> Gingelly (???) Oil,
= sesame oil ('gingelly' being the name used in southern India, 'tilli' the
name used in northern India for same thing, with the third most common name
[miiThaa tel] translating to mean 'sweet oil'). This oil is used 'raw' in
India and is light in color; it is not that dark, smoked sesame oil used in
Japan.
