[CH] UK chile help

I agree with Martha!
Well, risking sounding like all the other newbies to this list.  I know
almost nothing about chillies, hadn't realised till today there were more
than about 2 types of chile pepper.  I like hot food, but can't eat full
chillies!  Wupse, is that me expelled!  LOL!  Anyway,  Can't buy any fresh
chilies in my town, but I've got some dried ones.  Hoping to grow some of
my own indoors, having a worm fobia.  I split one of my dried chillies open
and have planted the seeds.  Is this sacrelige?  Didn't know what else to
do.  Does anyone have any good info for chilies in the UK.
