Here is rocoto salsa "recipe" (it's kind of like Xnipec) from the book
"Peppers" by Amal Naj:
Llajw'a
Crush together locoto, tomato, onion and quillquina (probably done with a
large stone grinder, or a potato masher, or a modern blender). Or, if you
just chop up the stuff and mix, it's called salsa cruda. Quillquina is a
small, weedy plant with a strong flavor, tasting kind of like cilantro;
seeds available at Seeds of Change.
