LOLOLOLOL!!! This totally cracked me up, good one Erich. For those of you
who have been amused (or annoyed) by my quote/signature line------nyah nyah
nyah I'm keeping it! ;D ;D ;D <----good humor inserted here
Greg Brown is one of my FAVORITE musicians, he can write songs like no-one
else, his CD "Slant 6 Mind" rarely leaves my CD player. For those of you in
the DC area he'll be at the Birchmere on 10/9-----I've only heard him on
Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion, so I'm definitely going. Greg's
a chile head from WAY back I'm sure :0) His music is kinda bluesy, kinda
folksy, and he's got a voice that would make Tom Waits weep! ;D
My habs survived Floyd, but lugging that pot in and out of my teeny
apartment was a b*** !! My heart goes out to you guys who were flooded, I
just can't even imagine.....
Went to a harvest festival here in Richmond over the weekend, not much
"harvest" to speak of, and hardly any peppers. Mostly dried cayennes and a
few jalapenos. EXCEPT, one lady had a huge bounty of green habaneros that
she sold for $1 a bag (one of those zip lock sandwich thingys) I bought
two, and they are ripening in my kitchen, filling it with good aromas.
There! how's that for on-topic! And btw, I've only been on this list a
little over 3 weeks, and I've already got 10 pages worth of recipes......
habanerolly yours,
Jenee
