Chlorine is a very minor, needed, chemical intake by plants. In public water supplies, if I remember correctly, chlorine can be used up to 4ml per gal. Does this mean that organic gardeners cannot use public water supplies to water their plants with? The problem with copper fungicide is that it is a preventative measure. One should not apply it during rain or high humidity. What happens after 2 weeks of rain and high humidity and bacterial/ viral/fungal infections get started ? Copper is not effective then. I have yet to find something I can use on peppers under those conditions. At this point in time, localy, The only fungicide I can find with the word peppers on the label is copper fungicide.
