It is entirely possible that the reason my datils don't look like datils is because they aren't datils ;-) That seed came from a supplier known to occasionally get things wrong (NOT Tough Love!) & I have several other sports & things I don't recognize. The first few fruits the plant produced matched your descriptions of datils a little closer- longer, more wrinkled. That is why I believed them to be datils. They are also without a doubt a chinense & datil was the only type of chinense I'd ordered from them. As the plant started to produce hundreds of pods, they became smaller and less wrinkled as you saw. One of life's mysteries..... -Jim C MWPH
