Out of consideration for my heatless friends and family members, who have not reached that level of Pepper Nirvana that I have, or the degree of insane, senseless bravado if you look at it from their point of view, I grew False Alarm Jalapenos this year. They grew quite well and looked like Jalapenos, but they tasted more like a severely under ripened Ace Bell pepper when green and a mouthful of water when ripened to red. So next year instead of wasting the garden space I'll grow Salsa Delights for them. You can take the heat out of the pepper but you might as well eat the leaves.
