You Writ: Out of consideration for my heatless friends and family members, who have not reached that level of Pepper Nirvana that I have, or the degree of insane, senseless bravado if you look at it from their point of view, I grew False Alarm Jalapenos this year. They grew quite well and looked like Jalapenos, but they tasted more like a severely under ripened Ace Bell etc. Dan, I have the same problem 'round my house and friends. Tried "Senoritas" (a supposedly heatless Jal.). They revealed a little heat at the stem end. Otherwise like grass. Might be better when fully red. Don't know 'bout those "Salsas". But for good flavor, try the sweet Venzuelean Habaneros. if you excuse my spelling. Another coupla big heatless chiles to try: "Gypsies" and "Cubans", both have good flavor, and are beautiful in the chile patch. Tom, in Paris, Tx
