I was not able to post to the list the last few days.  It turned
out to be the list owner's anti-spam handler.  

Why was I treated in such a manner?

Because my email address was changed and NOBODY TOLD ME!
Since sender did not equal list member... the old bounce-a-roo.
Wonderful government efficiency, huh?

They are still routing email through the old address, but I don't know
how long that will last.  The new address is
