Been there, done that ;-) Similar to Jeff, I splashed sauce out of the kettle one time and had Hunan foot for the better part of two days. Didn't help that the sauce was 185 F either. I've also had Hunan hand from 1 mil ORC also. That as well was no fun! In mixing the ORC with the spices, an air bubble burped up and out quite a bit on my hands. Bright cherry red they were and throbbed BIG time. Contrary to Tony, I've found that cold water works well in buying time, which is what my experience has been the only total cure. Of course my hands get kind of wrinkly from keeping them under water for an hour. It is always then that your nose itches as well :-) Or nature calls... -Jim C MWPH Alive and well finally.
