Being in Minnesota a zone 4 growing season I have overwintered a cayenne
plant for seven years now and it produces 50-60 peppers every summer for
me. Its daylight and temp are reduced for 7-8 months.I tried a Jalapeno and
it didn't produce as well as my new plants so I gave up on it. This year Im
going to winter a Czechoslovakian black to see how it does.
