Well, it wasn't because I rode in the winter but becaue the bike in question
gave everyone the general impression that it was always on the verge of
detonating.  I still ride in the wintertime (I live in Central Illinois.  I
ride if there's no actual ice in the streets), but the Bike I have now is
much newer and does not appear as ready to take out innocent bystanders.  My
'Biker Vest' has a squirrel on it, holding a nut, for that very reason.  I'm
relatively new to the Chile Head bit, but I come from a long line of
heat-lovers.  Need to see if I can get a chile patch for my vest...
