I'm real happy with my National Rice-O-Mat rice cooker. It was recommended to me by a great Korean cook who bought one and carried it back to me from Chicago's China town when I lived in northern Indiana. She made the BEST chilehead hot squid I've ever eaten. And to pass on her tip for what makes rice it's best: use Jasmine rice and rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse till clear before cooking it.
