Hi All

You know I really am a dummy!! Here I am with lemons and limes rotting
away under the trees. I use lemon juice to make Buttermilk (sour milk)
for cakes and scones. Never even crossed my mind to use them instead of
vinegar for sauce.
Must really try it when I run out of the case of sauces that Wonderman
Jim Campbell sent me. (In a year or so:-) Hi Jim:-)

My Rocoto bush is now 6 feet tall in a 5 gallon pot. Beautiful purple
flowers like the ornamentals.
I was thinking of trying to pollinate by hand but settled by giving it a
gentle shake. Then I saw a bee inside one of the flowers so live in
anticipation.
Starting this plant in July 99 (early winter) has really paid off in
that it is way ahead of any other. I have normally started my plants in
late winter.
