You all are probably tired of hearing this from me by now but 'been
there, done that' too ;-)

It seems to me that when chiles get airborn via water, sneezing is the
most common result. When they're burnt or fried, coughing is most
likely. I sneeze profusely when I wash off utensils with the hose, and
cough when they end up on stove tops & oven bottoms.

I have one ol' boy who insisted on walking in on me while grinding
habs. I always wear a mask for this and put up a warning sign but some
folks just don't think it'll affect them. As he walked in I warned him
but he said that his sinuses were so plugged he'd be immune. He found
out different pretty quick ;-) He was so grateful for having them
cleared I sent him home with a bottle with instructions to put some
sauce into steaming water for future fits. He remains grateful,
convinced, and cured to this day.
