We just got back from visiting three wineries in the Hill Country area of Central Texas between Fredericksburg and Johnson City. We sampled some very good wines and some pretty ordinary wines. The find of the day, however, was a raspberry/chipotle preserve. I don't much care for sweet tastes but this stuff was VERY good. The raspberries and the chipotle peppers really complemented each other. I don't have the bottle here but, for those of you in the area, it was at the Brushy Creek Winery.
