I just found this in my TV Food Network Mastercook Cookbook. I have not tried it but it is on my list of things to try. I have made many recipes from Cooking Live and they were all wonderful. I'm sure this is too. You can always change the kind of chile and make it even hotter. I would probably do that if DH wasn't so chile-shy. * Exported from MasterCook * COWBOY CAVIAR WITH WARM BLUE TORTILLAS Recipe By : Recipe courtesy Shalini, Cooking Live CL9421 Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Appetizers Beans Chiles Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups canned black-eyed peas 1 medium red onion -- chopped 1 serrano chili chopped -- seeds and veins -- removed 1 green bell pepper -- chopped 1 red bell pepper -- chopped 3 Roma tomatoes -- chopped 1 pinches cayenne 1 bag blue corn tortillas Combine all ingredients in a bowl except tortillas.
