I would imagine that you, wisely, deleted a virus. A wiser move still would be to get a good antivirus program and keep it updated weekly. I've heard that there are new viruses that will find a recent address of received mail, and disguise themselves to look like they came from there, so that you won't be suspicious of the address. Good idea to delete any .exe files that aren't described by the sender. I don't download anything. Call me paranoid! Marilyn
