Hello Chs-
Here in Abilene, TX,  THE SKY IS FALLING!!!
White soft cold stuff is coming right out of the sky.  Must be some kind
of nuclear winter fallout or an alien invasion or something.  Anyone
ever seen anything like this before??  These Texans sure don't seem to
know how to drive in it.
Guess I'll have to go out and throw a sheet over my slightly frostbitten
but still BLOOMING chiltepin ('forgot to advise it of winter's arrival)
in the front flower bed.  Being somewhat protected by the house, it has
lasted on its own all this winter.  Sunday morning it was -8 C, too.

I'll add my voice to JC and offer some powder to you folks planning Hot
Lucks. (I think that man has a knack for making people happy.) Send me
details and addresses.  Just can't have too much hot stuff on hand.
