A sun-baked Rockin' Randy, in town for the NASCAR stuff ("Mardi Gras on Wheels") and the Beach Boy celebrated "Race Weeks in Daytona" by attending the "Redneck Riviera Sizzler V" in style today. We began by visiting our local Asian market on Speedway Blvd. (Hey, Randy!! You stole my damned peppers!), where Randy stocked up on various goodies, presumably not available in Tucker, GA. We next stopped off at a Mexican joint on Route 1 and stuffed our faces with chips and salsa; followed by super-nachos and chiles rellenos. As usual, we had toted in our array of at least 20 sauces and powders. In addition, Randy brought in a jar of habanero-stuffed olives, and I brought a container of my home-brewed kim-chee. Randy loved the kim-chee and likened it to that made by "that Korean lady." (No, I might look Korean, but I'm no lady!). Needless to say, after we "hottened" up the food to our liking, it was all very tasty and satisfying. Fully sated, we retired to the palatial beachside residence of the "Beach Boy," where we entertained each other on the tenor guitar (Randy had never played one....but with a five-minute lesson, he was playing like a pro!). Last I saw of the Rocker, he was heading north on A1A, toward St. Augustine, for another adventure! Hope you all can attend "Sizzler VI!" Time and place to be announced! With hottest regards, Myron (aka Beach Boy) PS Karen....Al K. has NO hot sauce! The recent storms decimated his pepper crop! .:~*~:. .:~*~:. .:~*~:. .:~*~:. .:~*~:. .:~*~:. .:~*~:.
