Hmmmm, I think what you guys up there call bell peppers, we call capsicum. Yes, they have no heat, and yes they come in all sorts of colours. I quite like them raw in salads, or grilled on the barbecue, or baked with other veges. I also love the heat from good ol' cayenne peppers, and I'm trying to grow habaneros for the first time. (They're flowering but seem to be slow to set fruit. Any ideas?) What I don't get is the apparent contempt that some folk seem to have for poor defenseless capsicum! Just cos they're not hot? Potatoes aren't hot, carrots aren't hot, cheese isn't (often) hot, apples aren't hot, do these food items come in for the same sort of ridicule? Personally, I don't like like brussel sprouts or water chestnuts very much, but I sure as hell don't denigrate anyone who does. P'raps I'm missing the joke, but, good grief, leave poor old capsicum alone!! By the way, if anyone wants a crack at the America's Cup, we'll put it up again in 3 or 4 years..... Hal
