I like red and yellow bells, they have a nice sweet flavor.  It is not the 
lack of heat, but there is an off note to me in the flavor of green bells; I 
don't hate them and can tolerate them better cooked than raw.  It is similar to 
the grassy "green" flavor that prevents me from fully enjoying fresh green 
jalapenos.
