Didn't think that there'd be two Virginias on the list - hi Virginia Dimond - but it was me who asked about Gypsys and am looking forward to the Gypsy recipe. I think there are ways to tell us apart: 1) Virginia Dimond does like bells, and I'm the notorious bell hater (all the more for her then); 2) Virginia D. signs off as Ginny, whereas I don't use that as a nickname (Virg., Virgie - call me anything else, as long as ya call me for dinner). Sounds like Virginia/Ginny is in the Midwest, US, whereas I'm in the East Midlands, UK. Thanks to helpful folk my tomatillos are looking far more perky, but the Anaheims haven't poked their heads up yet (it will be three weeks next Sunday). Tried the Chile con Queso y Cerverza from the Epicurious website the other day (_Gourmet_ magazine, Oct. 93, for those who save them). Easiest c-con-q recipe I've ever done - has the texture of a good Velveeta dip but without the chemical taste (it uses Cheddar and Jarlsberg). Uses a bottle of pickled jalapeņos, but could accommodate pretty much any other chile of choice. Cheers, "assembly" Virginia
